All-On-Four is a trademark name coined by Nobel Biocare, one of several large Implant Companies. The All-on-Four Method of teeth replacement is designed to replace an entire arch of teeth with at least four dental implants. The implants are specifically placed to each be able to support multiple teeth in the arch.  A full arch prosthesis is fixed to the dental implants on the day of surgery. It stays in and can only be removed by your dentist. The temporary prosthesis is replaced with a permanent one after the implants have integrated with the bone.

Am I A Candidate For the All-On-Four® Treatment?

Some people who have multiple missing or decayed teeth face an uphill battle when it comes to getting their smile back.  Oftentimes patients are faced with the choice between removable dentures or thousands of dollars to restore and replace teeth that may end up needing repair again in just a few years. If you are looking at replacing multiple teeth or currently have dentures and want a permanent option that is not removable, you are probably a candidate for the All-on-Four full arch replacement.

How Long Will It Take To Restore My Smile?

Conventionally, implants take 6-8 months before teeth can be secured to them. Another name for the All-On-Four treatment is Teeth-in-a-Day because the entire process can be completed in one procedure. The legwork is done in advance through coordination between your dentist and your surgeon. On the day of surgery, you can have teeth fixed directly onto the implants. You will come to the office with your current smile and you can leave the same day with your new one!

What If I’ve Been Told I Don’t Have Enough Bone For Implants?

The All-On-Four concept was created specifically for patients that have significant bone loss or atrophy. Because of the way the implants are placed, major bone grafting is usually not necessary. Sinus lifts and ridge augmentations are often avoidable with the All-On-Four solution.
